I recently stayed at Casa De Las Palomas, and it truly was a stunning experience. The outdoor shower was a highlight, while the pool and overall decor made me feel right at home. On the downside, I found the meal options a bit limited, and it could use more frequent pool cleaning. Overall, a lovely boutique hotel and a wonderful escape in Merida.
